Villa Unterswand is an exclusive wedding venue in the beautiful Almtal valley, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life – ideal for couples who want to celebrate their special day in a unique setting.
The Baron Suite can accommodate up to 70 guests. In addition to 179 m² of indoor space, there is also a covered veranda, terraces and a spacious garden to ensure a varied programme of events.
The church and registry office are located directly in the village. Extend the ceremony with a walk together along the Grünaubach stream, under old trees, to the village centre with the church in around 20 minutes.
Accommodation is available both in the villa (up to 19 people in 9 apartments) and in the neighbouring Pension Grünauhof hotel (up to 40 people in 20 rooms).

The outdoor area of Villa Unterswand offers plenty of space for special moments: a covered veranda (58 m²), terraces (107 m²) and a spacious garden (550 m²) – ideal for receptions, outdoor dinners or a relaxing evening under the open sky.
Villa Unterswand is not only suitable for weddings, but also for birthday parties, private celebrations (e.g., baptisms, first communions), vernissages or receptions, and film productions.
For the wedding dinner, you can work with a catering service—for example, beimhannes.com: Scandinavian. Asian. Mühlviertel roots.
The villa’s garden is also suitable as a parking space for a food truck—for example, austrian-tapas.com.
For breakfast, coffee, and cake, the Dorfcafé Grünau is a great option: a 15-minute walk along the Grünaubach stream, open daily from 8:00 a.m. (closed depending on the season).
